Centre 88 is an independent charitable trust established in 1988. Based on Saner Street in Hull, it supports and develops the voluntary sector by providing fair cost, accessible premises for offices, meeting space and training facilities. It also provides a range of support services to the voluntary sector ranging from management and administrative expertise to low cost printing services.
Funding from the Community Fund has improved the centre's facilities, which are all now wheelchair accessible. The centre, which has a car park, is a short bus ride from the city centre and is easily accessible by road or rail.
Meeting facilities Centre 88 has two ground floor meeting/training rooms, which can comfortably accommodate up to fifty people. Both are equiped with a hearing loop. A variety of training equipment is available for use including flip chart, projector, white board, TV/DVD/Video and Wi-fi. Tea and coffee making facilities are available, and catering can be arranged by request. The centre also has a small interview room suitable for use by two or three people.

Printing facilities In addition to a colour copier, the centre has a Risograph duplicator which copies onto A3, A4 and A5 paper size to produce quantity low cost leaflets and posters. The printing facilities are complemented with a folding machine, collator, guillotine, comb binder, and laminator.
Fax machine This facility is available for use by arrangement with the office staff.
